Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA), 68-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dawson County upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host West Hall (Oakwood, GA) to play the Spartans in a AAA Region 7 bout on Friday, January 19. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 4-12. West Hall lost 68-53 in their recent league bout against Pickens (Jasper, GA)

Next up, the Wolves play the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) in a AAA Region 7 bout, on Friday, January 19. Wesleyan will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 64-43 league win over White County (Cleveland, GA).
