California High School Basketball - Desert Christian overwhelmed by St. Monica Academy

The Desert Christian Knights basketball team (Lancaster, CA), was overwhelmed 82-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the host St. Monica Academy Crusaders (Montrose, CA)

The Crusaders now possess a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Faith Baptist for a Heritage battle on Thursday, January 18. St. Monica Academy will confront a Contenders team coming off a 76-56 non-league loss to Pilibos (Los Angeles, CA). The Contenders record now stands at 8-9.

The Knights (1-17) will now prepare for their battle against Arvin (Arvin, CA). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 8-12 record. In their last battle, Arvin was overwhelmed by Foothill (Bakersfield, CA), 65-41, in a league battle.
