The Dixie Hornets (Due West, SC) basketball crushed the visiting Thornwell Saints (Clinton, SC), 77-19 in Tuesday's league test.
The Hornets (15-3) will now prepare for their test against McCormick (McCormick, SC). The Chiefs go into the A Region 2 test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, McCormick walloped Silver Bluff (Aiken, SC), 51-42, in a non-league test.
The Saints now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Whitmire for a A Region 2 test on Wednesday, January 17. Thornwell will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 57-26 league loss to Dixie (Due West, SC). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-9.
