Perry Panthers (Perry, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Dooly County Bobcats (Vienna, GA), 54-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Perry upgrades its record to 4-11 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA) to play the Braves in a AAAA Region 2 bout on Thursday, January 18. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 15-2. Baldwin won 60-35 in their recent league bout against Howard (Macon, GA)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Dooly County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 61-59 non-league loss to Wilcox County (Rochelle, GA).
