North Carolina High School Basketball - Lincolnton fells East Burke

January 16, 2024: Connelly Springs, NC 28612

Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC), 64-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Lincolnton upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Wolves travel to Maiden (Maiden, NC) to play the Blue Devils in a 2A Catawba Valley bout on Friday, January 19. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Maiden won 70-54 in their recent league bout against Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) in a 2A Catawba Valley bout, on Friday, January 19. East Burke will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 74-46 league loss to West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC).
