The East Dubuque Warriors basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Stockton Blackhawks to 29 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren for a Northwest Upstate Illini - West contest on Thursday, January 18. East Dubuque will battle a Warriors team coming off a 56-36 league loss to Galena (Galena, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 6-9.
The Blackhawks (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Scales Mound (Scales Mound, IL). The Hornets enter the Northwest Upstate Illini - West contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Scales Mound was routed by Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL), 82-70, in a non-league contest.
