Eldorado Eagles (Eldorado, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ozona Lions (Ozona, TX), 73-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Eldorado upgrades its record to 14-11 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Water Valley (Water Valley, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 2A Region I District 7 bout on Friday, January 19. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 10-14. Water Valley lost 62-40 in their recent league bout against Forsan (Forsan, TX)

Next up, the Lions play the Sonora Broncos (Sonora, TX) in a 2A Region I District 7 bout, on Friday, January 19. Ozona will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Broncos come into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 45-44 league loss to Sterling City (Sterling City, TX).
