Ellison Eagles (Killeen, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Waco Lions (Waco, TX), 90-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Ellison upgrades its record to 20-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Lake Belton (Temple, TX) to play the Broncos in a 5A Region III District 22 bout on Friday, January 19. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 9-17. Lake Belton lost 86-63 in their recent league bout against Shoemaker (Killeen, TX)

Next up, the Lions play the University Trojans (Waco, TX) in a 5A Region III District 22 bout, on Friday, January 19. Waco will attempt to upgrade on its 9-16 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 21-4 record after their 65-47 league win over Killeen (Killeen, TX).
