Iowa Valley Tigers (Marengo, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting English Valleys Bears (North English, IA), 71-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Iowa Valley upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Tigers host Montezuma (Montezuma, IA) to clash with the Braves in a South Iowa Cedar bout on Thursday, January 18. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 7-4.

Next up, the Bears clash with the Belle Plaine Plainsmen (Belle Plaine, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar bout, on Friday, January 19. English Valleys will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record.
