The Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars basketball team (O'Fallon, MO), was overwhelmed 79-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Howell Vikings (St. Charles, MO)

The Vikings now possess a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Howell North for a Gateway - South battle on Friday, January 19. Howell will battle a Knights team coming off a 56-48 league loss to Troy-Buchanan (Troy, MO). The Knights record now stands at 4-9.

The Jaguars (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Howell Central (St. Charles, MO). The Spartans come into the Gateway - South battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Howell Central was overwhelmed by Fort Zumwalt North (O'Fallon, MO), 42-40, in a non-league battle.
