Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV), 55-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Reno upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Huskies host Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV) to play the Cougars in a 4A Northern bout on Friday, January 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Spanish Springs lost 74-60 in their recent league bout against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) in a 4A Northern bout, on Friday, January 19. Galena will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Miners go into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 86-59 league loss to Reed (Sparks, NV).
