In Tuesday's league outing, the Wilkinson County Warriors (Irwinton, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA), by a margin of 79-46.

The Warriors (5-12) will now prepare for their outing against Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA). The Trojans go into the A D2 Region 5 outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Johnson County was trounced by Hancock Central (Sparta, GA), 58-43, in a league outing.

The Panthers now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Edmund Burke Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 18. Glascock County will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 51-35 non-league loss to Brentwood (Sandersville, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-7.
