Texas High School Basketball - Gold-Burg ripped by Slidell

The Slidell Greyhounds basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Gold-Burg Bears to 31 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Tuesday.
The Greyhounds now sport a 19-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saint Jo for a 1A Region III District 22 contest on Friday, January 19. Slidell will meet a Panthers team coming off a 92-90 league win over Bellevue (Bellevue, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 3-21.
The Bears (7-18) will now prepare for their contest against Midway (Henrietta, TX). The Falcons enter the 1A Region III District 22 contest with a 2-16 record. In their last contest, Midway was routed by Slidell (Slidell, TX), 65-22, in a league contest.
