Seminole Indians (Seminole, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Greenwood Rangers (Midland, TX), 58-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Seminole upgrades its record to 18-9 on the season. The Indians travel to Monahans (Monahans, TX) to play the Loboes in a 4A Region I District 3 bout on Friday, January 19. The Loboes go into the bout with a record of 14-9.

Next up, the Rangers play the Pecos Eagles (Pecos, TX) in a 4A Region I District 3 bout, on Friday, January 19. Greenwood will attempt to upgrade on its 14-11 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-15 record after their 68-37 league loss to Andrews (Andrews, TX).
