Georgia High School Basketball - Johnson edged by Groves

The Johnson Atomsmashers basketball team (Savannah, GA), was nudged 65-64 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA)

The Rebels now possess a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Long County for a AAA Region 3 battle on Friday, January 19. Groves will confront a Blue Tide team coming off a 54-49 league win over Liberty County (Hinesville, GA). The Blue Tide record now stands at 12-4.

The Atomsmashers (10-7) will now prepare for their battle against Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA). The Hornets come into the AAA Region 3 battle with a 5-10 record.
