In Tuesday's league outing, the Paducah Dragons (Paducah, TX) basketball squad beat the host Guthrie Jaguars (Guthrie, TX), by a margin of 78-62.

The Dragons (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against Jayton (Jayton, TX). The Jaybirds go into the 1A Region I District 5 outing with a 22-3 record. In their last outing, Jayton defeated Spur (Spur, TX), 86-21, in a league outing.

The Jaguars now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Motley County for a 1A Region I District 5 outing on Thursday, January 18. Guthrie will clash with a Matadors squad coming off a 51-45 league win over Patton Springs (Afton, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 5-8.
