With the win, Hawley upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Bearcats host Albany (Albany, TX) to play the Lions in a 2A Region II District 10 bout on Friday, January 19. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Albany lost 47-46 in their recent league bout against Cisco (Cisco, TX)

Next up, the Pied Pipers play the Haskell Indians (Haskell, TX) in a 2A Region II District 10 bout, on Friday, January 19. Hamlin will attempt to upgrade on its 7-13 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 44-33 league loss to Hawley (Hawley, TX).
