The Union Christian Day Eagles basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Hawthorne Christian Academy Hawks to 47 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lighthouse Christian Academy for a South Carolina Christian A - Region 1 contest on Thursday, January 18. Union Christian Day will battle a team coming off a 63-50 non-league win over Union Christian Day (Union, SC). The record now stands at 3-1.
The Hawks (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Victory Christian (North Augusta, SC). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record.
