The Royals now possess a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host School for Entrepreneurship & Technology for a Pioneer battle on Thursday, January 18. Monarch will confront a Lions team coming off a 49-24 league loss to San Diego Academy (National City, CA). The Lions record now stands at 1-12.

The Surgeons (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain Empire (Pine Valley, CA). The Redhawks come into the Pioneer battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Mountain Empire beat King-Chavez Community (San Diego, CA), 61-22, in a league battle.
