Hidden Valley Mustangs (Grants Pass, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Henley Hornets (Klamath Falls, OR), 54-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Hidden Valley upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Mustangs host Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 11-4.

Next up, the Hornets play the Mazama Vikings (Klamath Falls, OR) in a 4A Skyline bout, on Thursday, January 18. Henley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 57-48 league loss to Phoenix (Phoenix, OR).
