The Blue Demons now possess a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maine West for a Central Suburban - North battle on Friday, January 19. Maine East will battle a Warriors team coming off a 46-44 non-league win over Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 3-13.

The Giants (7-12) will now prepare for their battle against Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL). The Cougars come into the Central Suburban - North battle with a 12-7 record. In their last battle, Vernon Hills edged Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL), 45-39, in a non-league battle.
