Rockford Rams (Rockford, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Hudsonville Eagles (Hudsonville, MI), 55-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Rockford upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Rams travel to East Kentwood (Kentwood, MI) to play the Falcons in a Ottawa-Kent - Red bout on Friday, January 19. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 6-2. East Kentwood won 51-39 in their recent league bout against Grandville (Grandville, MI)

Next up, the Eagles play the West Ottawa Panthers (Holland, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Red bout, on Friday, January 19. Hudsonville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 65-63 league win over Jenison (Jenison, MI).
