The Van Horn Eagles basketball team (Van Horn, TX), was overwhelmed 57-34 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Immanuel Christian Warriors (El Paso, TX)

The Warriors now possess a 19-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dallas Academy for a TCAF District 5 battle on Friday, January 19. Immanuel Christian will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 65-43 non-league loss to St. Paul's Prep (Arlington, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-7.

The Eagles (15-8) will now prepare for their battle against Big Bend (Terlingua, TX). The Roadrunners come into the 1A Region II District 9 battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Big Bend was overwhelmed by Marfa (Marfa, TX), 72-17, in a league battle.
