The North Lenoir Hawks basketball team (LaGrange, NC), was overwhelmed 55-33 in Tuesday's league battle with the host James Kenan Tigers (Warsaw, NC)

The Tigers now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clinton for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 17. James Kenan will battle a Dark Horses team coming off a 57-22 league loss to West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC). The Dark Horses record now stands at 6-3.

The Hawks (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC). The Blue Devils come into the 2A East Central battle with a 3-12 record. In their last battle, South Lenoir was overwhelmed by East Duplin (Beulaville, NC), 76-60, in a league battle.
