The Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE) basketball nipped the host Weeping Water Indians (Weeping Water, NE), 43-38 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Thunderbirds (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer (Humboldt, NE). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer was tipped by Pawnee City (Pawnee City, NE), 54-38, in a league test.

The Indians now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Brownell Talbot for a non-league test on Friday, January 19.
