The Lake City Panthers basketball team (Lake City, SC), was nudged 34-29 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Marlboro County Bulldogs (Bennettsville, SC)

The Bulldogs now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Camden for a AAA Region 6 battle on Friday, January 19. Marlboro County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 71-44 league loss to Crestwood (Sumter, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-10.

The Panthers (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Darlington (Darlington, SC). The Falcons come into the AAA Region 6 battle with a 16-2 record. In their last battle, Darlington edged Lakewood (Sumter, SC), 51-42, in a league battle.
