With the victory, Marquette improves its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Defenders host Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA) to confront the Irish in a Big East challenge on Friday, January 19. The Irish come into the challenge with a record of 6-4.

Next up, the Lions confront the West Branch Bears (West Branch, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Lisbon will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record.
