In Tuesday's league outing, the Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA) basketball squad edged the visiting Ola Mustangs (McDonough, GA), by a margin of 58-53.

The Wildcats (7-13) will now prepare for their outing against Jones County (Gray, GA). The Greyhounds go into the AAAAA Region 2 outing with a 15-4 record. In their last outing, Jones County was tipped by Union Grove (McDonough, GA), 68-58, in a league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Dutchtown for a AAAAA Region 2 outing on Friday, January 19. Ola will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 61-49 non-league loss to Alexander (Douglasville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-7.
