Utah High School Basketball - Lone Peak edges Skyridge

The Lone Peak Knights (Highland, UT) basketball nipped the visiting Skyridge Falcons (Lehi, UT), 70-68 in Tuesday's league test.

The Knights (8-6) will now prepare for their test against American Fork (American Fork, UT). The Cavemen go into the 6A Region 3 test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, American Fork got by Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT), 69-56, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Lehi for a 6A Region 3 test on Friday, January 19. Skyridge will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 79-73 league win over Westlake (Saratoga Springs, UT). The Pioneers record now stands at 13-2.
