North Carolina High School Basketball - Northeastern routs Manteo

January 16, 2024: Elizabeth City, NC 27909

In Tuesday's league outing, the Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC), by a margin of 76-34.

The Eagles (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Knights go into the 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal outing with a 10-4 record. In their last outing, Currituck County smashed Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech (Elizabeth City, NC), 63-19, in a non-league outing.

The Redskins now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Hertford County for a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal outing on Friday, January 19. Manteo will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 65-50 league win over Camden County (Camden, NC). The Bears record now stands at 9-3.
