Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) and the host South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ), saw McClintock's basketball squad wallop South Mountain by a tally of 72-26.

With the victory, McClintock improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Central (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Bobcats in a 5A Metro challenge on Friday, January 19. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. Central won 79-48 in their recent league challenge against Fairfax (Laveen, AZ)

Next up, the Jaguars play the North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A Metro challenge, on Thursday, January 18. South Mountain will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Rattlers come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 86-24 league win over Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ).
