In Tuesday's league outing, the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) basketball squad felled the host Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), by a margin of 68-60.
The Rowdy Rebel Bulls (12-2) will now prepare for their outing against North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, North Rowan thwarted West Davidson (Lexington, NC), 58-55, in a league outing.
The Tigers now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Albemarle for a 1A/2A Yadkin Valley outing on Wednesday, January 17. Mount Pleasant will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 75-35 league loss to Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-12.
