North Carolina High School Basketball - Pungo Christian Academy routs Northeast Academy

January 16, 2024: Lasker, NC 27845

In Tuesday's league outing, the Pungo Christian Academy Raiders (Belhaven, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Northeast Academy Eagles (Lasker, NC), by a margin of 65-16.

The Raiders (15-2) will now prepare for their outing against Mattamuskeet (Swan Quarter, NC). The Lakers go into the non-league outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Mattamuskeet was trounced by Hobgood Charter (Hobgood, NC), 70-34, in a league outing.

The Eagles now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Albemarle School for a NCISAA Tarheel outing on Wednesday, January 17. Northeast Academy will clash with a Colts squad coming off a 77-21 league loss to Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC). The Colts record now stands at 0-16.
