The Wiscasset Wolverines basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Rangeley Lakes Lakers to 35 in the Wolverines league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Temple Academy for a D South contest on Thursday, January 18. Wiscasset will meet a Bereans team coming off a 62-47 league loss to Forest Hills (Jackman, ME). The Bereans record now stands at 4-5.

The Lakers (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Islesboro Central (Islesboro, ME). The Eagles enter the D South contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Islesboro Central was outscored by Carrabec (North Anson, ME), 54-21, in a non-league contest.
