With the victory, Shallowater upgrades its record to 21-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Idalou (Idalou, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 18-7. Idalou won 65-59 in their recent league challenge against Abernathy (Abernathy, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Slaton Tigers (Slaton, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 19. Roosevelt will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 10-13 record after their 67-40 league loss to Childress (Childress, TX).
