Texas High School Basketball - San Marcos thwarts Steele

The San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX) basketball knocked off the host Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX), 75-58 in Tuesday's league test.
The Rattlers (20-7) will now prepare for their test against Judson (Converse, TX). The Rockets go into the 6A Region IV District 27 test with a 15-10 record. In their last test, Judson went down by Clemens (Schertz, TX), 56-52, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 16-8 record. They play next when they travel to East Central for a 6A Region IV District 27 test on Friday, January 19. Steele will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 63-50 league loss to New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 17-7.
