The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels (Forestburg, SD) basketball nipped the host Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds (Wolsey, SD), 43-36 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Rebels (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Hitchcock-Tulare (Tulare, SD). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Hitchcock-Tulare got by Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD), 57-37, in a non-league test.

The Warbirds now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they host James Valley Christian for a B Region 2 test on Thursday, January 18. Wolsey-Wessington will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 58-56 non-league loss to Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD). The Vikings record now stands at 3-5.
