In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters (Sauk Centre, MN) basketball squad edged the host West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN), by a margin of 54-50.
The Mainstreeters (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Melrose (Melrose, MN). The Dutchmen go into the AA Section 6 outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, Melrose held off Holdingford (Holdingford, MN), 70-46, in a league outing.
The Knights now own a 10-3 record. They play next when they host B O L D for a non-league outing on Friday, January 19. West Central Area will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 79-44 league win over Cedar Mountain (Morgan, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 8-5.
