Southview Cougars (Sylvania, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ross Little Giants (Fremont, OH), 40-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southview upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Cougars host Whitmer (Toledo, OH) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Little Giants play the Findlay Trojans (Findlay, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Ross will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 44-35 non-league win over Ottawa-Glandorf (Ottawa, OH).
