With the victory, University Prep improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Hesperia Christian (Hesperia, CA) to confront the Patriots in a Cross Valley challenge on Friday, January 19. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Hesperia Christian won 34-21 in their recent league challenge against Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville, CA)

Next up, the Knights confront the Riverside Prep Silver Knights (Oro Grande, CA) in a Cross Valley challenge, on Friday, January 19. Academy for Academic Excellence will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Silver Knights come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 58-21 non-league win over Silver Valley (Yermo, CA).
