Our Lady of the Lakes Lakers (Waterford, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Academy of the Sacred Heart Gazelles (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 38-14 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Our Lady of the Lakes upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Austin Catholic (Chesterfield, MI) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Austin Catholic lost 44-22 in their recent league bout against Cardinal Mooney Catholic (Marine City, MI)

Next up, the Gazelles play the Detroit Cristo Rey WOLVES (Detroit, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Academy of the Sacred Heart will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
