The Oscoda Owls basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Alcona Tigers to 29 in the Owls league victory on Tuesday.

The Owls now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heston Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Oscoda will battle a Patriots team coming off a 48-4 non-league loss to Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy (Saginaw, MI). The Patriots record now stands at 0-6.

The Tigers (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mio-Au Sable (Mio, MI). The Thunderbolts come into the non-league contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Mio-Au Sable triumphed over Fairview (Fairview, MI), 66-26, in a non-league contest.
