Alpena Wildcats (Alpena, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Tawas Area Braves (Tawas City, MI), 44-15 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Alpena upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Wildcats host Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-2.

Next up, the Braves play the Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Tawas Area will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 37-18 non-league loss to Millington (Millington, MI).
