Utah High School Basketball - Maeser Prep Academy succumbs to American Leadership Academy

The American Leadership Academy Eagles topped the visiting Maeser Prep Academy Lions basketball team by a final score of 52-33 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Draper APA Eagles (Draper, UT) in a 2A Region 17 game, on Thursday, January 18. American Leadership Academy will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 12-3 record after their 66-33 league win over American Heritage (American Fork, UT).

With the defeat, Maeser Prep Academy moves to 3-13 on the year. The Lions travel to Waterford (Sandy, UT) to face the Ravens in a 2A Region 17 game on Thursday, January 18. The Ravens enter the game with a record of 8-3. Waterford won 45-33 in their recent non-league game against Merit Preparatory Academy (Springville, UT)
