In Tuesday's league outing, the Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC) basketball squad felled the visiting Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots (Kinston, NC), by a margin of 41-23.

The Hurricanes (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC). The Saints go into the NCISAA Coastal Plain outing with a 15-3 record. In their last outing, John Paul II Catholic thwarted Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC), 64-27, in a league outing.

The Patriots now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Wake Christian Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 18. Arendell Parrott Academy will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 27-21 league loss to Cary Christian (Cary, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-11.
