The Rabun County Wildcats basketball team (Tiger, GA), was toppled 71-57 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Athens Christian Eagles (Athens, GA)

The Eagles now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tallulah Falls for a A D1 Region 8 battle on Friday, January 19. Athens Christian will confront a Indians team coming off a 52-42 non-league loss to Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA). The Indians record now stands at 6-7.

The Wildcats (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against Elbert County (Elberton, GA). The Blue Devils come into the A D1 Region 8 battle with a 6-12 record. In their last battle, Elbert County was toppled by Commerce (Commerce, GA), 58-54, in a league battle.
