The Balmorhea Bears basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Dell City Cougars to 16 in the Bears league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buena Vista for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Balmorhea will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 40-19 league win over Iraan (Iraan, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-11.
The Cougars (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Marfa (Marfa, TX). The Shorthorns come into the 1A Region II District 9 contest with a 1-4 record.
