Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Waverly Vikings (Waverly, NE) and the host Bennington Badgers (Bennington, NE), saw Waverly's basketball squad knock off Bennington by a count of 54-35.
With the victory, Waverly upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host Wahoo (Wahoo, NE) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Wahoo won 59-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Lincoln Lutheran (Lincoln, NE)
Next up, the Badgers play the Norris Titans (Firth, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Bennington will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 48-30 non-league win over York (York, NE).
