Bethlehem Academy Cardinals (Faribault, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms (Blooming Prairie, MN), 42-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bethlehem Academy upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Southland (Adams, MN) to play the Rebels in a A Section 1 bout on Thursday, January 18. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 4-9. Southland won 55-35 in their recent league bout against Lyle/Pacelli (Lyle, MN)

Next up, the Awesome Blossoms play the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers (New Richland, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Blooming Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 62-50 league loss to Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN).
