South Carolina High School Basketball - Gaffney trounces Boiling Springs

January 16, 2024: Gaffney, SC 29341

The Gaffney Indians (Gaffney, SC) basketball crushed the visiting Boiling Springs Bulldogs (Spartanburg, SC), 85-37 in Tuesday's league test.

The Indians (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC). The Vikings go into the AAAAA Region 2 test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Spartanburg was trounced by James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC), 82-74, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to James F. Byrnes for a AAAAA Region 2 test on Thursday, January 18. Boiling Springs will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 47-42 league win over Dorman (Roebuck, SC). The Rebels record now stands at 12-6.
